LIFE

A STORY OF A RICH BOY  ,

Harry feel stressed out and overwhelmed as he grew up rich and was promised 30 billion (US$1.18 million) in inheritance from my parents.

He was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. He never had saved money as his friends do . He never had to take on part-time jobs during university lifelike my classmates to afford the tuition fee. Instead, he was given a motorbike and a few million dong per month for personal spending . No one ever asked him where he spend the money .

After graduating, he was instantly offered a job by a relative of his father with a handsome salary. His parents even bought him an apartment close to his office. So his commune would be more convenient and easy.

He was never the one to indulge in luxuries or squander money, nor he was lazy in his studies or work. On the contrary, he studied diligently and took his job very seriously.

His parents, who live in the countryside, let him keep and use all of him salary, never asked him to send them the money, he earned like my friends’ parents do.

In his hometown, his parents have a large house, land, a garden, fields. and other assets worth a total of about 30 billion. They inherited some of these assets from their grandparents and acquired the rest through business endeavors and wealth accumulation.

Since a young age, he knew for a fact that, he would inherit this wealth from his parents once they passed away.

His parents doted on me, but they were also very demanding individuals. He often wish to know what it feels like to have to work his own way to success and not be promised any inherited wealth like some of his friends. He still remember how a friend of him and his spouse were so worried about debt when they bought their first home and how ecstatic they were when they finally paid off their loans .

He also feel awestruck at how happy a couple of his friends were when they see their new online businesses gradually expand.

He have always doubted himself, wondering if he could ever achieve success like his friends, if he did not have his parents to back him. He have always wanted to break free from his arranged office work to start his own business or pursue his dreams, but whenever he discussed it with history parents, his wishes and desires were always brushed aside. He have a feeling that his parents think that he is incompetent and that he would erode the wealth his parents have built up, so they are determined to prevent him from changing his career.

I shared this story not to boast about his family's wealth, as there are many others richer than him, but to show that I have enough experience and insight to comment on whether being born rich makes you happy or not. Sometimes, rich person like him just yearn for an average family, enough money to live comfortably, and siblings to confide in.

Can money really solve all of your problems like people say?
